Jones was born on July 17, 1979 in Cincinnati, Ohio, and this is where she currently resides. This is also where she grew up listening to her eventual influences, Anita Baker, Teena Marie, and Whitney Houston. Family and friends say that she has been singing as far back as anyone can remember. She has set a goal a long, long time ago that many people around her feel would be unachievable. That goal was to become the first lady out of her hometown of Cincinnati, to be heard worldwide and compared to the rest of the R&B divas of her time. With a very positive upbringing, this young lady has her eyes on the prize and is willing to do everything it takes to reach her goal.
